HEALTH
Access to quality healthcare is essential for human dignity and community well-being. In Somalia, where health systems face persistent challenges due to conflict, displacement, and limited infrastructure, LIFE works to improve access to essential health services and promote healthier communities.
As a women-led organization, we place special emphasis on maternal, child, and reproductive health ensuring that women and girls receive the care, information, and support they need to lead healthy and empowered lives. Our health interventions include awareness campaigns, community outreach, capacity building for health workers, and support for local health facilities to enhance service delivery.
All health activities are implemented in coordination with local authorities at both state and federal levels, ensuring alignment with national health strategies and priorities. Through our integrated and community-driven approach, LIFE contributes to stronger health systems, improved public health outcomes, and more resilient communities across Somalia.
